About Pressure Gauge Cooling Tower

Instrumentation Cooling Tower is a heat-dissipating accessory designed to protect pressure instruments such as gauges, switches, transmitters, and diaphragm seals from high process temperatures. Installed between the process line and the instrument, it reduces heat transfer to the sensing element through an extended finned surface that disperses heat to the atmosphere before it reaches the instrument. This helps prevent damage, improves measurement reliability, and extends instrument life.

Manufactured typically in SS 316/316L, the cooling tower is suitable for clean air, gases, steam service, and non-crystallizing liquids. Its finned construction also helps reduce temperature shock and can assist in dampening pulsation effects in certain services. It is widely used in steam, high-temperature fluid, and process instrumentation applications.
